This is a great editing software. It’s got good effects, and it doesn’t use up a lot of ram, so its a rare event for it to crash (unless there is something wrong with your computer).

I love this thing. It is the only one I have ever used that has never crashed on me. It is by far the best editing tool that has ever worked for me. Actually It is the only one that has ever even worked for me.

This program is the worst piece of fice you could ever crap. Freezes, Crashes, and works slow and I have a a brand new Dell XPS with Windows 7. *STAY AWAY FROM THIS PIECE OF POOP*

@junkerde you dont even have 1 video bitch
junkerde on Mon, 22nd Mar 2010 6:35 am
better then something that it cant be compared to. jeez fucking kids with their little beginner videos know shit about non linear editing or compositing.
speedomike747 on Mon, 22nd Mar 2010 7:08 am
@junkerde it was just a test fking retard!
And AE is still better!!!!!!
junkerde on Mon, 22nd Mar 2010 7:22 am
ok…i guess retards will be retards if a simple logic like that will not help out. and your editing sucks..a hand dissapear?? thats it?? easy still shot with the ruler going and a second blank shot masked to reveal nothing….just great.
speedomike747 on Mon, 22nd Mar 2010 7:53 am
@junkerde HAHA!!
speedomike747 on Mon, 22nd Mar 2010 8:32 am
@junkerde I’m still right
junkerde on Mon, 22nd Mar 2010 9:28 am
“was just saying that AE is better ” there goes the dumbness again…please keep proving my point. 2 totally different things…its like comparing adobe premiere and after effects…OH i wonder why Adobe made 2 different apps…oh maybe ones for compositing and motion graphics and the other one to cut video and such which this would fall into. some other logic so u understand…its like comparing 3ds max to after effects…2 totally different things!
speedomike747 on Mon, 22nd Mar 2010 9:45 am
@junkerde I’m not really dumb, but you are.
I was just saying that AE is better -.-
junkerde on Mon, 22nd Mar 2010 10:08 am
vegas 9 is much better has more tools…but the gui fricken sucks! still windows 98 looking..cmon sony get real. the only thing that is modern is the gui for the plugins…other than that the gui is weird and sucks
junkerde on Mon, 22nd Mar 2010 11:08 am
@speedomike…are u dumb? this and after effects are 2 totally different things…after effects does compositing and motion graphics while this edits and cuts video…sure you can do that in after effects but splitting a video you will have to split as a layer…and its not convenient at all. you cant compare the 2 at all!
speedomike747 on Mon, 22nd Mar 2010 11:52 am
after effects is 999999 better!!!

@chickenchaos29
Maybe the place where the file is being saved in has limited space. Delete some files to create more space.
tikawawa on Mon, 22nd Mar 2010 12:42 pm

can anyone answer my question, when using powerdirector 8, after i already made the video i tried producing it to youtube, but it only produced 24% of the way. I also tried just simply publishing the vid, but it only worked to 24% as well. what do I do????
JackMarchie on Mon, 22nd Mar 2010 1:25 pm
does this work with a flip cam
simednl on Mon, 22nd Mar 2010 1:42 pm
Thanx for the tutorial
The video output after buring the DVD (create a disc) is very poor. In the case of Images it is working fine.
Any idea how to solve this problem?
Please advise..
simednl on Mon, 22nd Mar 2010 1:52 pm
Thanks for the tutorial.
I tried it but the quality of the video is getting very bad after creating the DVD.
In the case of images/photos it orks very well.
any idea how to solve this problem?
Please post

@reenkeller , just go to their website and download the manual…it’s really easy software to use.
faboriginees on Mon, 22nd Mar 2010 2:36 pm
No this is not BAD software. It’s comprehensive and well written and uses less system resource than say, Adobe Premiere Elements. I’ve not compared it with Vegas but I do know Vegas costs a lot more so I would therefore expect it to be “better”.
I will agree with rennkeller though. These tutorials are no more than spoken walk-thrus of a few of the available features. The trainer should explain why we would want to use a particular feature and how it would benefit us.
But hey it’s free.
